One Family - Many Connections

Today’s exploration Florida’s interconnected tapestry of Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods brings us to the tranquil Southwest shores of the Gulf of Mexico, to shine a spotlight on the Men’s Club of Temple Shalom of Naples, Florida.

Founded in 1992, Temple Shalom provides a meeting place, a sacred space for worship and an educational and social resource for Jews of all ages. Temple Shalom is a warm, welcoming, diverse, dynamic and inclusive Reform Jewish congregation where all individuals are equal partners in making our world whole and holy. At Temple Shalom, you can enhance your spirituality through worship services; enjoy Jewish learning opportunities for all ages and stages of life; partake in meaningful social action programs and celebrate Jewish holidays and life cycle events. Temple Shalom is One Family, believing in the sacredness of relationships, fostering connections – one to another, Temple, Israel, Torah and G-d. They are living Jewish values and nurturing future generations.

The Men’s Club of Temple Shalom is grounded in Judaism and the relationship they have with the congregation. They bring men in the congregation together socially, support the Religious School and the Pre-School as well as youth activities, enrich social contacts, support Judaism and Temple Shalom, work to make people feel welcome within the Congregation and support the larger community. They place a special emphasis on supporting the youth within Temple Shalom and the greater community since they are truly the future.  Join the Men’s Club of Temple Shalom and become part of the family.

In the September 2022 issue of “The Voice“, Temple Shalom’s monthly news magazine, Men’s Club President Ron Yasbin wished everyone a “L’shanah tovah tikateivu v’teichateimu” and discussed some of his Men’s Club’s upcoming activities and events.

Golf outings led by Paul Moskowitz ([email protected]) and outings to the Alamo led by Ed Cohen ([email protected]) are happening on a regular basis; please contact Paul and Ed for additional information.
