Vero Beach is the second most populous city in Indian River County, Florida. Abundant in beaches and wildlife, Vero Beach is located on Florida’s Treasure Coast, located midway between Melbourne to the North and Port St. Lucie to the South. A haven for golf, water sports and fishing, Vero Beach is known for it’s pristine Atlantic-facing beaches, the McKee Botanical Gardens and the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. It is also the home of the Temple Beth Shalom Men’s Club.
Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) is a diverse and welcoming kehilla of Jewish and interfaith families from many backgrounds, dedicated to the Jewish values of study, worship and social responsibility. As a caring community and House of Peace, TBS strives to meet the spiritual, intellectual, social and cultural needs of each member of their Temple family through lifelong learning, embracing Israel, performing acts of social justice, cherishing the Torah and worshipping together. They encourage meaningful participation and create a special sense of belonging with a focus not only on what you believe or how you “do” Judaism but on belonging to a community where you can celebrate your simchas (sweet moments), find support through tzuris (challenges), find holiness in your everyday life and make our world a better place.
Temple Beth Shalom Men’s Club is a social organization. Their mission is to foster an outlet for comradely and fellowship among the men of Temple Beth Shalom. Dues go primarily to supporting social functions at the Temple, support for worthwhile specific needs related to the Temple and support of their youth programs. Men’s Club activities are intended to be primarily fun and informative and spouses/significant others are invited to certain events throughout the year.
