On Sunday August 11, 2024 the Tampa Bay Rays hosted Jewish Community Day at Tropicana Field in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Kol Ami Brotherhood President Jon Zimmer successfully mobilized over 60 of their members come out to the ball game.
The first pitch came at 1:40pm when the Rays took on the Baltimore Orioles for a classic, nail-biting pitchers dual. The action came down to the 9th inning when Kol Ami Brotherhood President Jon Zimmer reported, “Top of the 9th… 2-1 Rays… 2-1 victory!“.
