Tamarac is a city in central Broward County, Florida, located on the eastern edge of the Everglades Wildlife Management Area, about 12 miles west of Lauderdale by the Sea and midway between Coral Springs to the North and Lauderdale Lakes to the south. Tamarac is also the home of the Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek Men’s Club.

Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek (TBTST) is a warm and caring egalitarian synagogue in West Broward County. TBTST is affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) and recognized as one of the premier Conservative Synagogues in the Southeastern United States; being a recipient of the the Synagogue of Excellence Award from the USCJ. The Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek’s (TBTST) Men’s Club welcomes men of all ages to share their many talents. They are an active part of the synagogue providing camaraderie, activities, events, and fellowship for men of all ages. The goal of the TBTST Men’s Club is to increase the connections both spiritual and social between the men in the TBTST family, as well as to create an atmosphere that encourages the interactions between the TBTST men and their children.

In the September / October 2024 edition of “THE SCROLL”, containing the latest news and information about what’s happening at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek, TBTST Men’s Club President Larry Gerson wrote:

“I hope everyone had a great summer. Your Men’s Club has been very busy planning events for the upcoming fall. Sunday, November 3rd at 9:15 am, join us for breakfast and then enjoy our speaker, Dr. Robert Wolf, author of “Not a Real Enemy.” This promises to be a very interesting program. Saturday, November 9th, come celebrate our annual Veterans Day Shabbat and your Men’s Club Shabbat. We invite all TBTST men to participate in this special Shabbat. Please contact David Jaspan at: d.h.jaspan@gmail.com if you wish to participate. See the flyer in this issue of the Scroll for more information. High Holidays are right around the corner.
