The Temple Beth Torah Brotherhood of Wellington, Florida hosted it’s 17th annual Temple Beth Torah Brotherhood Golf Tournament on Sunday morning May 1, 2022 at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Florida.
TBT Brotherhood President Joel Zaidspiner and Golf Committee Co-Chairs Steve Miller and Marc Kratenstein thank you for supporting this year’s Golf Tournament honoring Todd Barron. After we all have dealt with COVID-19 for over two years it is about time we all got out and have a spectacular day of golf, food and camaraderie.
Whitney Garcia, the head of catering for The Wanderers Club in Wellington and her team did a great job along with Jeff Fraim, PGA and the Head Golf Professional to make our day special. Braman BMW has graciously accepted being our Hole-In-One Sponsor once again. If you are looking for a new car this year please check out Braman’s BMW line up. They have been there for us for many years now. Also, a shout out to The Rosner’s who always support our golf tournament year in and year out, thank you.
In addition to our normal festivities, this year we wanted to use the tournament as a chance to honor one of our own Brotherhood members. Todd Barron and his family are a fixture of the Temple community and his years leading the Temple Gala committee have transformed it into a reliable annual event that is sure to entertain and continue to provide for the Temples needs. Thank you Todd. The positive energy and can-do spirit that you bring to all endeavors continues to inspire us.
We hope everyone has a great time while supporting us to fund raise for our charities. All proceeds will assist to strengthen the Temple and community programs. Some of the community organizations that our tournament has supported in the past include: The VA Hospital of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Food Pantry, Wellington Boys and Girls Club, Palm Beach Central High School and Wellington High School marching bands, Boynton Jewish War Veterans and the Leonie Arguetty Preschool. Our Golf Committee did a fantastic job meeting repeatedly over the last 7 months to make this day happen. Due to the COVID-19 Temple protocols we met at members homes all year long. Thank you the wives of the members who hosted us. We all appreciated your generosity to let us interfere with your weekend and evening schedules. Of course without our sponsors, advertisers, and volunteers, we would not have had such a successful day at The Wanderers Club.
The annual golf tournament is the TBT Brotherhood’s primary annual fundraiser and proceeds help the Brotherhood fund educational programs and an annual donation to the local community.
