One of the many goals for Florida Region FJMC leadership during 2022 is to travel throughout the Sunshine State to visit all of our FJMC affiliated Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods, while doing outreach to many newly “discovered” clubs as we lay the foundation for future growth. Looking ahead to the second half of 2022, we look forward to organizing regional meetings and training programs with Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods across the state of Florida.
Florida Regional President Blake Lenett recently traveled to Palm Beach and Broward Counties to visit with several South Florida Men’s Clubs. The first stop was at the Men’s Club of Temple Beth Am in Margate to attend a speaker breakfast featuring Dr. Elliot (“Boca”) Burns. Elliot is a former Florida Regional President and he delivered a powerful message about what FJMC has to offer. Pictured above is Elliot with TBA Men’s Club President, Larry Schwartz. Also pictured left is Blake, Elliott, and Mack Rosenbaum from B’nai Torah Congregation Men’s Club in Boca Raton.
Later that day, Blake visited with the Men’s Club of Temple Torat Emet in Boynton Beach. Pictured left to right is Blake, Ed Kochman (Regional Secretary), Ira Brandell (TTE Club President), and Abe Banke (TTE Yom HaShoah Chair).
The Men’s Clubs of Temple Beth Am (Margate), B’nai Torah Congregation (Boca) and Temple Torat Emet (Boynton Beach) are a small sample of the dozens of active, dynamic and vibrant Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods that comprise the Florida Region of the FJMC. We serve the needs of Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods across the State of Florida from the Panhandle to Miami. If you are not yet affiliated with the Federation, then today is the day to join us.
