The Congregation B’nai Torah Men’s Club wishes everyone a Happy Hanukkah 5785 and looks forward to an exciting year of programs and events, beginning on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 7:30pm. Please join us for the inaugural session of the Men’s Club Hearing Men’s Voices (HMV) program. HMV is a unique program that engages Jewish men in Jewish life, enabling deeper connections and better relationships among our members. It’s a facilitated session which encourages men to talk and engage in rich and meaningful dialogues about common issues. The title of this first session is called ‘Meet My Father”. I know you will find this unique program stimulating and well worth your time. Snacks will be served. More information to come as we get closer to the event.
On Superbowl Sunday February 9, 2025 at 10am, the CBT Men’s Club will take part in the FJMC World Wide Wrap, an international, coordinated minyan encouraging Jewish men and women to learn about and participate in one of the basic commandments in the Torah: the wrapping of tefillin. It’s a great opportunity to ‘tie one on’! Breakfast will be served. In addition, our Men’s Club will again be sponsoring Superbowl Squares, where you can win money and support the Congregation all at the same time! Look for details soon.
On Sunday February 23 at noon, CBT congregant, Ray Leonard, who is a retired executive in the Oil industry, will be leading a “Lunch and Learn” discussion on the subject of “Climate Change from an Oil Man’s Perspective”.
