B’nai Torah offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to enrich your synagogue experience and is a vibrant center for tzedakah acts and projects that touch thousands of people. Join B’nai Torah and get involved.
The B’nai Torah Men’s Club promotes fellowship and camaraderie among the men of B’nai Torah. The Men’s Club sponsors many social and volunteer activities; some events are planned for men only, others are for men with wives, significant others or an invited guest. During the past year, the B’nai Torah Men’s club hosted many well attended programs and events, highlighted by the annual Men’s Club Men’s Club Shabbat weekend featuring scholar in residence Rabbi Dr. Ariel Burger: teacher, writer, and speaker known for his work in Jewish ethics and Holocaust education. He is the author of the book “Witness: Lessons from Elie Wiesel’s Classroom,” based on his experiences as a close student of Elie Wiesel.
In the September 2023 edition of B’nai Torah’s monthly synagogue “Chai Magazine”, Men’s Club President Dr. Elliot Burns reported; “Men’s Club is looking forward to partnering with our schools and other various arms of the MC synagogue to enhance our programming opportunities. We look forward to co- hosting and facilitating with them! Ideas include Happy Hour at local restaurants; bowling and mini golf; FAU basketball and football events; and more! Some events will be just for the adults and others will be special opportunities for the fathers/grandfathers to participate with their children.
