The Temple Beth David Men’s Club is planning an exciting array of fun and engaging programs and in events during 2025 and Club President Mark Paul invites everyone to join the fun.
Recent Men’s Club programs and events include a family friendly barbeque featuring special guest speaker Stuart Hack, sports radio announcer and host of Hack Attack on Sports, followed by and “Latkes and Libations Celebration” to ring in the new year. On Superbowl Sunday, the Temple Beth David Men’s Club took part in the FJMC World Wide Wrap, an international, coordinated minyan encouraging Jewish men and women to learn about and participate in one of the basic commandments in the Torah: the wrapping of tefillin. On Thursday evening March 13, several members of Men’s Club will channel their inner thespian and take part in Temple Beth David’s 5785 Purim Spiel production of a “Rock and Roll Megillah Around the Clock”. This will be an event that you do not want to miss, be there!
As time marches forward, it is our task to remember and teach about the Shoah. Each year, Men’s Club distributes FJMC Shoah Yellow Candles™ to the Temple Beth David family of families. On the night of Yom HaShoah, the candles are lit to shine a light of memory, a light of education, and a light that we will never forget. Participation in this program helps to keep the memory of the Shoah alive and to remember what could happen if we don’t stand up for ourselves. Yom HaShoah begins at sundown Wednesday April 23, 2025 / 27 Nisan 5785. Please join us in a moment of solidarity for our six million brothers and sisters that were lost in the Shoah.
