Dr. Cary Schwartzbach is an orthopedist in Fairfax, Virginia. He received his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has a special interest in the management of orthopedic injuries, especially shoulder, elbow and knee. Dr. Schwartzbach initially became interested in orthopedics because of his many injury visits as an active youngster. This interest became a passion, first in college doing orthopedic research and then in medical school taking care of patients with musculoskeletal ailments. His goal is to help his patients recover from their injuries, not just physically but emotionally as well. Dr. Schwartzbach, a son of Holocaust survivors, said, “October 7 was a wake-up call.”
