Over three dozen members of the Torat Emet Men’s Club of Boynton Beach, Florida joined together in Brotherhood for World Wide Wrap on Superbowl Sunday February 13, 2022. Due to COVID restrictions in Palm Beach County Florida, this year’s World Wide Wrap was hosted on ZOOM, making it accessible to our Men’s Club members anywhere in the world. Our very own Rabbi Michael Klein instructed everyone about the significance of putting on Tefillin and, through ZOOM, helped us to wrap our Tefillin properly, followed by an intimate, spiritually meaningful morning minyan. The Torat Emet Men’s Club optimistically looks ahead to hosting next year’s World Wide Wrap LIVE and IN PERSON in our beautiful sanctuary in Boynton Beach, Florida.
To make the World Wide Wrap a global experience, the Torat Emet Men’s Club partnered our wrap with Yehudah Kimani of Kehillat Kasuku, a community of about 130 people practicing Judaism and living a peaceful life together with other people of different faiths in central part of Kenya, about 2-3 away northwards from Nairobi city of Kenya. Kehillat Kasuku started in 2000 when a group broke away from a Christian church in favor of pursuing the Jewish faith. The Kasuku Jewish Community built their own synagogue from tree trunks and plastic sheeting on the land of two community elders, appropriately named Abraham and Sarah.
