Melbourne is a city on the central Atlantic coast of Florida. Local attractions include the Eau Gallie Arts District, the Foosaner Art Museum, the Rossetter House Museum & Gardens and the Brevard Zoo. Melbourne is also the home of the Temple Beth Sholom Men’s Club.
Temple Beth Sholom (TBS) is a conservative, egalitarian congregation serving all of east central Florida and offers programs to meet the Jewish needs of preschoolers, youngsters, teenagers, young adults, adults and seniors alike. TBS is also a welcoming Kehillah Kedoshah (Holy Community); a catalyst for enriching and transforming people’s lives through prayer, learning and communal connection.
Temple Beth Sholom is many things; a Beit Tefillah (a House of Prayer), providing egalitarian, traditional and accessible worship services to inspire a deeper relationship with G-d. TBS is a Beit Midrash (House of Study), offering formal and informal opportunities for Jewish learning for every age and background. TBS is also a Beit Kenesset (House of Assembly), extending a warm welcome to all and striving to create a caring and supportive community. TBS embraces Am Yisrael (the Jewish people), Medinat Yisrael (the State of Israel) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), with a mission that includes service to the larger community, both locally and worldwide.
The Temple Beth Sholom (TBS) Men’s Club is eager to build on the hard work of past leaders and members to make this a great year. The TBS Men’s Club is focused on promoting Judaism and family activities in today’s busy, hectic, competitive world, performing service activities for TBS and the community at large, educating our youth and ourselves about our holidays, rituals, faith and having fun.
Looking ahead, the TBS Men’s Club will co-sponsor certain activities with the Sisterhood and continue the successful programs of past years. The Men’s Club is putting together the calendar of programs and events for the upcoming year and they need your ideas and support to be successful.
