The sunshine state is blessed to have dozens of diverse Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods. Today we will take a trip down I-95 to sunny Miami, Florida and shine a spotlight on the Dor Chadash Men’s Club.
Congregation Dor Chadash is a community with a vision for the next generation of Jewish life in South Florida; a place that meets the needs of Jews from various upbringings and backgrounds where Jews of all ages can grow and learn, where non-Jewish family members can explore what being Jewish is all about and where young Jewish families can come to find a spiritual home they can call their own. At Dor Chadash, all are welcomed without judgment or discrimination.
The Dor Chadash Men’s Club is an integral part of the Dor Chasash community. Each year they provide many opportunities for men of Dor Chadash to interact, socialize, learn and grow as Jewish men and mensches. Martin Levine currently serves as the President of Dor Chadash Men’s Club, along with club Vice President Philip Coller.
Men’s Club VP of programming Don Lockenbach reports the Dor Chadash is currently in transition as they temporarily do not have a permanent place of worship. Now that the High Holidays are behind us, Men’s Club is “looking to start having some small social events”. Stay tuned for for more information.
