NAMI provides support, education and advocacy from a “live experience” perspective; they exist to ensure that no one is alone in his or her struggles with mental illness. NAMI provides resource information and practical next steps for anyone who is impacted by their own mental illness or that of a loved one. NAMI support and education programs are available for family members and other loved ones, as well as recovery support and education for those individuals living with a mental health condition, including how to find a local NAMI chapter in the United States.
