The Temple Beth Am Men’s Club (Margate) offers an opportunity to establish life-long friendships and offer a broad range of programming and activities including Trivia Night, Karaoke. Sporting Event Trips (Marlins, Panthers, Dolphins), Sunday Speaker Series and much more. The Men’s Club also helps support the Temple through various fundraising activities including running Monday night Bingo and seasonal raffles. Recent Beth Am Men’s Club activities include a four-hour fishing adventure aboard the 101 foot Starlight 101, a Super Bowl Squares contest and the FJMC World Wide Wrap. The Men’s Club Sunday Speaker Series speakers included breakfast with Major League Baseball legend Art Shamsky, member of the ‘Miracle Mets’ that won the 1969 World Championship.
The Beth Am Men’s Club has a full calendar of programs and events planned for 2025, beginning on January 2, 2025 with a Chanukah Hockey celebration to remember with the World Champion Florida Panthers at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, just west of Ft. Lauderdale. The puck drops at 7pm when the Panthers take on the Carolina Hurricanes for an evening of non-stop Hockey excitement and the Florida Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Club’s wants you to join us in Brotherhood for an event of epic proportion. ALL Florida Region FJMC Men’s Club’s and Brotherhoods are invited to join together for an epic night of Adrenalin filled Hockey awesomeness. January 18, 2025 – The Temple Beth Am Men’s Club invites you to a 50’s & 60’s Sock Hop music party with live music performed by the Happy Daze band. Be sure to come dressed in your greaser outfit or poodle skirt, as the best outfit wins a prize! General Admission is only $27 and Beth Am is offering sponsorship opportunities that may include 2 free admission tickets based on the amount you sponsor. Doors open at 7:00 PM. February 15, 2025 – The Temple Beth Am Men’s Club will host a Game Show Night. Join us as we play “Survey Says”, a Family Feud style game pitting temple “family” members against one another. “Survey Says” has the look and feel of the TV version. Form your own teams or come individually for a night of survey question trivia. Each member of the winning team receives a prize. Snacks and drinks included in the registration price. March 9, 2025 – REGISTER NOW for the next SOUTH FLORIDA Florida Region FJMC Men’s Club & Brotherhood meeting and training event on Sunday morning March 9, 2025 at Temple Beth Am – 7205 Royal Palm Blvd, Margate, FL 33063. ALL SOUTHERN FLORIDA Florida Region FJMC Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods are encouraged to register for this FREE event. This will be an in-person meeting. The morning will begin with 8:30am minyan, followed by breakfast, Club meeting and training to follow. We have a lot of information to cover including updated Quality Club Award requirements, strategic planning for 2025, FJMC International Convention, July 3 to 6, 2025 in Chicago and more.
