- As generations of Holocaust survivors are no longer able to tell their stories, education is more important than ever.
Is your Florida Region FJMC Men’s Club or Brotherhood looking for an engaging speaker to bring to your next meeting, event or synagogue Shabbaton? If the answer is yes then consider a speaker from the Gutterman Family Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education (CHHRE) of Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

The Arthur and Emalie Gutterman Family Gutterman Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education is a formal unit within FAU’s Center for Peace, Justice, and Human Rights (PJHR), a university-wide effort established in 2015 and designed to bring together scholars, practitioners, students and community leaders to expand the reach and influence of existing peace, justice and human rights programs. The CHHRE offers FAU students, K-12 teachers, Jewish educators and community leaders a variety of professional development workshops, an Annual Holocaust Summer Institute for Educators, intensive travel-study opportunities, and other community programs including a Holocaust Survivors Speakers’ Bureau. For more information about the CHHRE and to schedule a speaker, please visit: https://www.fau.edu/artsandletters/pjhr/chhre/speakersbureau/ or contact CHHRE Director Linda Medvin at lmedvin@fau.edu.
