Kulanu means “all of us” in Hebrew. We seek to create an inclusive Jewish world. Founded in 1994, we support isolated, emerging, and returning Jewish communities around the world. Some are discovering Judaism for the first time, others reinvigorating a forgotten practice, but all have experienced some kind of disconnection from global Jewry Bureau. We raise awareness and support to assist these groups with their desire to learn more about Judaism and connect with Jews beyond their community. The connections we forge – through education, research, networking, fundraising, sustainable development, and publications – help “all of us” to enrich our Jewish lives.
The Kulanu Speakers Bureau is a great way to bring an individual to your community – a board member, affiliated volunteer, or member of one of our partner communities. We have helped organize events at synagogues, university campuses, high schools, private homes, and many other kinds of venues. Generally, we expect an honorarium plus travel expenses. Most of our speakers travel within the Americas, Israel, and Europe, but we can try to arrange for events beyond these areas if you request it.
