The Temple Beth Am Men’s Club (Margate) offers an opportunity to establish life-long friendships and offer a broad range of programming and activities including Trivia Night, Karaoke. Sporting Event Trips (Marlins, Panthers, Dolphins), Bowling, Sunday Speaker Series and much more. The Men’s Club also helps support the Temple through various fundraising activities including running Monday night Bingo and seasonal raffles.
Recent Temple Beth Am Men’s Club activities include participation in the 5785 FJMC World Wide Wrap, hosting the FJMC Sefer Haftarah and distribution of FJMC Shoah Yellow Candles™, as well as organizing an Escape Room experience and a well attended Men’s Club Shabbat. The Beth Am Men’s Club also introduced “Men of the Round Table“, a place for men to gather to share ideas, thoughts, concerns, happy occasions, sad ones, health issues or any other topic on your minds. “This has been a very successful program at other synagogues, and we believe it will be a meaningful experience for the men of Beth Am as well” said Men’s Club President Larry Schwartz.
In the June-July-August 2025 issue of ‘The Scribe‘, Temple Beth Am’s quarterly synagogue newsletter, Men’s Club President Larry Schwartz posted; “As I sit down to write this Scribe article, it’s our summer edition so there’s not much going on except kicking off my shoes and enjoying the warm weather that Florida always seems to offer. On Sunday September 14 the Temple Beth Am Men’s Club will attend the annual Miami Marlin’s Jewish Celebration Game to see the Marlins play the Detroit Tigers.
