The Sunshine State is the home to close to one hundred active and dynamic Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods; many of the have similar names but each one is unique. Today we take a trip to sun drenched, tranquil shores of Florida’s Atlantic Coast and shine a spotlight on the Temple Beth El Men’s Club of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Temple Beth El has served the needs of Conservative Judaism in Palm Beach County for over a hundred years. Since its early beginnings as part of the “Jewish Community Center”, Beth El has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational Synagogue of over 500 families with a thriving religious enrollment. The Temple offers a wide array of services and programs including Jewish education for children and adults, cultural activities, social action, grief support and spiritual healing. At the heart of Temple Beth El is our family of families; the opportunity to celebrate together and share family life cycle and social events as a congregation. Temple Beth El is affiliated with the United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism.

The Temple Beth El Men’s Club offers opportunities for fellowship and good works. The group meets for breakfast every Sunday after minyan (approximately 10:00 am); meetings are open to all members and often feature a speaker. The Men’s Club hosts many worthwhile programs and events throughout the year including Remember a Child, supporting the Fishman Youth Fund, the World Wide Wrap and annual mailing of Shoah Yellow Candles for Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). Men’s Club members assist as ushers for Shabbat and High Holy Days Services, man the grill for member barbecues, provide financial support for temple programs and events and are actively involved on event committees in support of the temple.

The Men’s Club holds a monthly business meeting, generally on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm. Club President Sol Beck invites you to come for a nosh, meet the guys and be part of the future of Temple Beth El; the upcoming meetings / programs will be held on 2/15, 3/15 and 4/9/23.
