Guy Starik was born in Jerusalem. At the age of 12 he discovered his passion for shooting and became an active member of the Israeli National shooting team. Within four short years he had qualified for and joined the Israeli National shooting team. He has competed in four Olympics for Israel . In 2003 Guy won a gold medal at the World Cup Marksman Championship in Munich in the Men’s 50 metre rifle three positions. The following year he was ranked second in the world in his event by the International Shooting Sport Federation , In 2005 , Guy won the gold medal in the Men’s 50 metre rifle prone at the European Championships. He has won four World Cups and four gold medals at the European Championships and shares the world record in the 50-meter rifle prone competition For more than 30 years , Guy has lived and breathed Olympic Rifle Shooting both as a top-level International Competitor and as one of the sport’s most successful coaches, He is one of the sports true professionals.
