Content Marketing is a focus on creating content that is relevant to your target audience. For Men’s Club, that means creating content / organizing programs and activities that are relevant to …. your target audience.  The question YOU need to answer for each potential Men’s Club event or activity is who is your target audience? Not all events are suitable for all target audiences so organize an array of diverse Men’s Club programming and activities every year to engage your current members and attract new ones.

If your goal is to attract younger members then tailor your program to that demographic. A family oriented program like miniature golf might be relevant to guys in their 30s and 40’s. Axe throwing or a Night out at a Brewery may be on interest to guys in their 40’s and 50’s while a night at the theater, a poker game or engaging Sunday morning speaker program may be relevant a more sedentary, mature audience. A Men’s Club bowling or pickleball league, a Walk-a-thon, Fishing Trip or group Bicycle ride might attract more physically active members. Hebrew Literacy programs, Men’s Club Shabbat or World Wide Wrap may appeal to some members while off-site secular programming may appeal to others.

Your event or activity marketing efforts and materials should appeal to and be reflective of your event’s target audience. Promoting your event on Facebook appeals to a 30 something to 70 something demographic. Your Temple Newsletter and Bimah announcements get you exposure to existing Temple members whereas advertising your Men’s Club event in a local Jewish newspaper or on local Public Access / cable TV could potentially attract unaffiliated new members that never heard of Men’s Club.

Content marketing is about helping your current and prospective Men’s Club members by providing relevant content and programming.  Share your knowledge, engage and establish relationships with your current and prospective members and your Men’s Club will live long and prosper.
