The FJMC Inclusion Initiative urgently seeks your support to create the Lev Shalem Mahzor in braille, produced by the Jewish Braille Institute (JBI).
Since 1931, JBI is dedicated to helping individuals who are blind or visually impaired gain access to Jewish life, learning, community, and culture. JBI relies on the support of caring people like YOU to help create books in braille, large print, and audio formats.

The demand for JBI services grows everyday. While JBI provides all these services, free of charge to their patrons, they cost a great deal to produce and poses a significant challenge.
The Mahzor Lev Shalem requires transcription into 14-16 Braille volumes. Initial production costs amount to $30,000 for the transcription – with copies costing approximately $700 each to produce. JBI makes these available for congregants who need, free of charge. All funding for this critical initiative comes solely from individuals and foundations, without any government support. Your gift will make a real impact!!!
