- A Toolkit for Men's Clubs, Brotherhoods, and Individual Members During this Most Challenging Time in Israel

Shalom Friends,

We need your stories and reflections on Israel! Every week, we invite a member of the FJMC to share a “reflection” on some aspect of your thoughts, experience or feelings about Israel. It can be a memory, something current or even something forward thinking. Please keep it short, 300 words or less or even a few paragraphs and that you stay away from politics. And it is entirely acceptable to make it about you and Israel. Please send your submission, to Karl Rubin at krubin@fjmc.org and/or Lisa Pollack at assistant@fjmc.org.

ADL Campus Antisemitism Report Card

ADL’s Campus Antisemitism Report Card is a tool for students, parents, alumni, college faculty, guidance counselors, admissions consultants and other stakeholders. Our goal is to serve students and their families looking for information about the current state of antisemitism on campus and how particular universities and colleges are responding

ADL produced this Report Card during a time of incredible volatility on college campuses. It takes the temperature at a moment in time and provides a roadmap for improving campus climate.(ADL).

Media Outlets Quietly Stop Referring to the Gaza Ministry of Health’s Hamas Affiliation.

In the days and weeks following Hamas’ October 7 invasion of southern Israel and the beginning of the Jewish state’s military response against the Gaza-based terror group, HonestReporting called out numerous media outlets for failing to inform their audiences that the Gaza Ministry of Health, a prime source for statistics on those killed and injured in Gaza, is run by Hamas.

Now, almost eight months later, it appears that some of these news organizations have reverted to ignoring the Gaza Ministry of Health’s affiliation with the terror group.

FJMC Crisis Management Team

Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people. Jews are connected to our homeland spiritually, physically and psychologically. The FJMC is witnessing in many Jewish communities a lack of knowledge and diminishing commitment to the survivability of Israel. We dedicate ourselves to assisting our membership in leading their communities in three (3) primary ways: Make our communities aware of Israel’s history, keep our friends informed of current events and assist our friends to advocate for Israel. Please help us help others in raising the public’s consciousness about the modern miracle of Israel. To learn more about how your Men’s Club or Brotherhood can engage in FJMC’s Israel Advocacy activities, visit: https://fjmc.org/israel-advocacy/.

This Florida Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs stands with Israel.
