Men's Club members enjoy monthly “Grounds, Tables & Suds” after preparing for the TBS monthly TBS Family Shabbat and Dinner by clearing around the grounds, trimming palm trees, cleaning around the exterior and setting up tables for Family Shabbat Dinner. Then on to Hooligans for a nice round of beers. Join us monthly for a nice workout and celebration.

Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) began in 1973 as a small group of Jewish families in Palm Coast who had a dream to begin their own synagogue; a place that enriches and uplifts the lives of its members and our community and foster a meaningful and welcoming Jewish home for all Jews in Flagler County. TBS is a place where everyone feels like they belong, where Jew and non-Jew alike, can connect and explore Judaism.

TBS Men’s Club members also represent Florida at the annual FJMC Anshei Darom Region Men’s Club Retreat at Camp Ramah Darom (a gathering of dozens of Men’s Club and Brotherhood members from across the Southeastern US). Looking ahead, on Superbowl Sunday February 8, 2026 at 10am, the TBS Men’s Club will take part in the FJMC World Wide Wrap, an international, coordinated minyan encouraging Jewish men and women to learn about and participate in one of the basic commandments in the Torah: the wrapping of tefillin. It’s a great opportunity to ‘tie one on’!

Temple Beth Shalom will host the Florida Region FJMC 2026 Shabbaton Retreat, live and in person, February 20 to 22, 2026. As an added treat, the FJMC Sefer Haftarah scroll will be incorporated into our Shabbaton weekend programming. The Scroll will be on display for all to see when it is not in use and our Men’s Club members will be reading parts of the Haftorah directly from the FJMC Sefer Haftorah scroll. As time marches forward, it is our task to remember and teach about the Shoah. Each year, the Congregation B’nai Torah Men’s Club distributes FJMC Shoah Yellow Candles™ to the CBT family of families. On the night of Yom HaShoah, the candles are lit to shine a light of memory, a light of education, and a light that we will never forget. Participation in this program helps to keep the memory of the Shoah alive and to remember what could happen if we don’t stand up for ourselves. Yom HaShoah begins at sundown Tuesday April 13, 2026 aka 27 Nisan 5786. Please join us in a moment of solidarity for our six million brothers and sisters that were lost in the Shoah.
