On Saturday, March 12, 2022 the Men’s Club of Congregation Ohev Shalom in Maitland, Florida will celebrate Shabbat Zachor with its annual Men’s Club Shabbat. This date corresponds to 9 Adar II 5782 and Parashat Vayikra will be read. Services start at 9:30am. This event will be LIVE and YOU are invited.
COS Men’s Club Co-President Elliott Davis explains, “Men’s Club Shabbat engages Men’s Club members to read Torah and participate in ark openings, readings, and prayer. The service gives the men the opportunity to expand their comfort level by doing something they have not done before – like reading Torah or leading a Hebrew reading.” Following services, the Men’s Club is sponsoring a kiddush luncheon in the social hall. The festivities continue on Sunday Morning March 13 at 9:30am with a delicious Men’s Club Bagel and Coffee Breakfast and guest speaker Steven Selznick, DO.
