The sunshine state is blessed to have dozens of dynamic Jewish Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods and the Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS) Brotherhood of Clearwater is one of the shining jewels of Pinellas County and the home base of current Florida Region FJMC President Blake Lenett.
The CBS Brotherhood has hosted dozens of outstanding social and educational programs over the past two years to keep their membership informed, involved and engaged, but the best is yet to come.
Beginning on Sunday September 11, the CBS Brotherhood, in partnership with the CBS Adult Education Committee, will kick off a nine-part weekly Men’s Torah Study class to be held Sunday mornings from 10:15am – 11:15am. Led by Rabbi David Weizman and Jason Palmer, the Men’s Torah Study class will be offered via Zoom so that all Florida Region FJMC Men’s Club and Brotherhood members will have the ability to join. The CBS Brotherhood is made up of a group of individuals dedicated to the growth of our organization and the building of a strong fellowship amongst the men of CBS. The Brotherhood offers you many ways to participate in strengthening the synagogue and community by mixing opportunities for service with chances for men to interact both socially and spiritually. Whether you choose to chair an event, join the board, or just show up; connecting with fellow Jews with a sense of purpose will improve the quality of your life. Together, we can do so much more.
